KD+P was engaged by the Mississippi Children’s Museum again to assist in creating a satellite children’s museum in Meridian, MS. KD+P facilitated and completed the Master Plan and exhibit development for four experience areas: WonderBox, Around My Town, My Best Me, and My Storybook Factory. WonderBox was created to inspire children to use the design cycle to see their ideas come to life through their creations. The mission of Around My Town is to inspire children to aspire to success by teaching the rich history of East Mississippi and its impact on the world. My Best Me was created to inspire children and families to understand the importance of developing children in a healthy and holistic way. My Storybook Factory inspires children to bring their stories to life through literature, music, art, and performing arts.
