Kraemer Design + Production, in collaboration with Commercial
Recreation Specialists and JLG Architects, created an innovative and
vibrant play space at the ‘The Loop,’ a mixed-use community center
& public library. A mass of three interconnected climbing structures
with a contemporary wood, metal, and acrylic aesthetic allowing
children to discover and climb to new heights. Adults can relax
with a book as toddlers traverse wood sheathed climbing mounds
and infants explore a soft-sculpt enclosure. This nontraditional
cladding system contemporizes the look of interior climbing
structures offering the children of Moorhead a sophisticated
climbing experience.
